Hi All. The much loved Driving Distance and Travel Time Calculator is currently offline. We cannot afford to operate it as a free service any longer. Below you can see some of the costs associated with providing the service, specifically the Maps API, Directions API, and Geocoding APIs. We had been able to provide it thus far due to a credit Google provided, which is about to expire; all future expenditures will have to come out of pocket if we continue operating the service and that is not an option at this time.
If there is demand for the service, we could consider offering it on a subscription basis in the future. We are sincerely grateful to those of you who have continued to visit WildTexas.com throughout the years, and we hope you continue to pop in periodically as we are not done evolving yet!
