In response to a couple complaints about the new calculator --
1. The back-end code is Google's, not ours, so if you dispute the routing or mapping, take it up with Google. We're just hooking in to their API (application programming interface.) For more complex mapping functionality, go to the source --
Google Maps
Another option is to use a completely different mapping provider altogether and see if they exhibit the same issue you may be having --

2. It's an improvement over what we had before, which only estimated the distance and drive-time and provided no mapping, no routing and no driving direction functionality whatsoever. Further, our old calculator bombed if either your "start" or "destination" city happened to occur in more than one county in a given state (occurs surprisingly often, btw.)
3. It's still free. You get what you pay for.
