As you know, with a little one in our household now, my time to devote to the site is limited (and questionable in quality).
That said, what can I do for you guys and gals that would make the site more useful, more informative or otherwise more interesting. We're looking for "quick wins" here -- something I can do relatively quickly that will result in a good jump in usefulness to the majority of WildTexas.com users.
Any glaring issues you've had here that you've been silent on? Let me hear them. Need more park data or the park data we do have validated for accuracy (pricing and hours change, especially at the city and county level.)
More pictures? Maybe at least incorporating the pics you guys upload into the appropriate park pages?
Help...
I have a LOT of my to do list and some of it just isn't going to get started until Sara is weaned and I thus have a little more time (eg. when Justin and others can watch her for me for a couple straight hours so I can get productive work done.)
Love you all. Thanks for being such a great online community and welcoming our new members so readily and providing such valuable first-hand information to one another.

Hey Shannon, I also really like the idea of a recipe spot. Either that or just make that thread about simple, hot camp meals a sticky so it's easy to find and add to.
What about also narrowing down the search miles when you go to the parks section? Someone else mentioned it's hard to find stuff close by if you aren't familiar with a lot of small Texas town names. Especially for people who are visiting from out of state and want to find things to do close to the town they are coming to visit. Maybe give a choice to narrow it down to more like a 50 or 100 mile radius?
Thanks for a great site!!!!

Posted two links to the new guy thread, both could be very useful to newcommers and old. Great site and keep it up :0
