Town Lake

Hi. I am new to kayaking and Austin. Can someone suggest a good place on or around Town Lake to get in? We got in at Zilker Park the other day but had to pay to park and it was quite a hill to lug the boat. Could you suggest a better spot? Thanks!

Re: Town Lake

Austin Paddling Club website - I know of festival beach and that you can access Town Lake from Red Bud trail.
