Texas SandFest

This past weekend I was able to head down to Port Aransas to check out the annual Texas 'SandFest'. Sculptors from all over come out to demonstrate their sculpting talents with nothing but sand, water and some interesting carving tools.

I had heard about this event last summer and had seen pictures of past events yet I was still floored at the sculptures these folks were able to pull off. Experts all the way down to the kiddos participated.

The weather was cool and sunny. Good way to spend a weekend!
