WAS Going To Take 'Yaks Out Today!

Bummer ! Was going to take the 'yaks out today for some paddling at Cleburne State Park. Wind seemed a bit strong so I turned on the news (Channel 5). Rebecca Miller informed me that the winds were blowing at 30MPH with gusts to 40 ! Wind advisories on all lakes. Needless to say, there will be no kayaking on this date . Oh, well. Maybe next week.

We did get in 8 days of paddling at Inks Lake last week. Had a great time and will post a review in a week or so. Have some pix, if any one is interested. E-mail and I'll send them your way.

Happy Camping!
