    Re: Vents

Definitely closed...and with an open container of desiccant inside to absorb moisture. Don't want my rig turning into a mildew farm!

We keep ours closed also with 2 damprids for any moisture. My bud keeps his air running year round and swears it's the only way to keep mold away, nice if you want a huge light bill,We have never had a problem with mold and don't want it.I do keep fridge running for wifes extra cold storage.I'm putting on maxaire covers this week to help keep out tha li'l critters. Thanks for your replies.

Got the new Maxaires installed today, takes about a hour. They cover up your vents to prevent rain and bugs out of trailer. With the really fine screens in them ,I can see how they keep bugs out.We will see.

    Re: Vents

I leave mine open. I crack open the one on the bathroom and one in the front area. That way you always got some air circulation inside the unit. Though, we have our rig under a barn style roof,so weather wise we do not have any isues.

I had a few gnats get through the screening in mine, but it kept all else out.

    Re: Vents

Window on the back of the "fifth" stays open slightly. It is almost under the eave and about 3' from the garage door. It also opens over a kitchen counter so even a slight bit of rain that might sneak in is no issue. Bath vent is also open but it has a cover over it so rain is not an issue.
