    TrailManor info

Happy Holidays everyone! Does anyone have any experience with a TrailManor travel trailer? I have seen some online and hope to see some at the Houston RV show in January. Would like to know about durability, quality and fair pricing as compared to others. We have a F250 truck but I want to down size at some point so I would like to have something that I can pull with a smaller vehicle. I got an email about a 24 foot trailer with a walkaround bed that is light-weight but I still want quality. Anybody got some advice about them? Thanks.

Seems like you went to that show last year....

Sorry no Trailmanor experience, but there are a number of lightweights out there these days. Need to know your future vehicle specs first. Visit this site

We have a hybrid by Coyote but sounds like your looking for a trailer. Look at forestriver also. Also would help to visit some web sites before you go again to see them all and formulate questions.

    Re: TrailManor info

I pull a hybrid by Jayco that is 21ft in length. I now pull it with a F150 super cab with no issues. I used to pull it with a shortbed Dodge 1500. While both are half-ton rated trucks, a world of difference in the pulling. While pulling it with the short bed it felt like the trailer was jerking the truck excessively. No such problem with the F150. I had even installed spring stiffeners to counteract the problem, some improvement but still not an enjoyable ride.
My feeling is and was that the shortbed truck was just too short to pull the trailer. It seems the longer truck has the leverage to compensate. I have never had sway problems with either vehicle and do not use sway bars as the trailer pulls straight with no sway at all. And that is pulling it at 65mph, the motor doing less that 2000rpm's. Nice, easy trailering. Now your results may vary, but I think you want to be a little careful how much you downsize. Some vehicles may be rated to pull your trailer of choice, but not with results that you would be happy with.
