Tacky Lights
Do you use Tacky Lights on your trailer,we have red, white, and blue chiles. They put off just enough light to get around and not bother other campers.

Re: Tacky Lights
We don't have an RV, but we use white Christmas lights at our site when we tent camp. Just enough light to see nicely, and doesn't seem to disturb others. Pretty festive too, if you ask me!

This is what we first started out with. The guy who sold us our popup left them in the trailer for us. After struggling with untangling them one too many times, I tossed them in a trash can at Choke Canyon SP 3 years ago. I no longer hang tacky lights. Instead, I lay rope lights down around the perimeter of our awning space. No clips required.

Re: Tacky Lights
I usse Christmas lights on the awning & we are going to install rope lighting on the underside of the camper for a little extra light at night without being too bright. Instead of the yellow outdoor light that was installed on the camper...it's kinda blinding at night...even though it's not very bright...

Re: Tacky Lights
We use rope lites (blue, white, and green). I usually pull a clothesline (cotton or polyester rope) from tree to tree and hold them in place with clothes pins. This has worked very well for us. We haven't really had any high winds since we started doing this so I am not sure if the clothes pins will hold well in winds.
