Rving at Pdernales Falls State Park

I have vist this park and enjoy hiking and mountain biking there. But I was wondering if anyone has actually taken their RV there to camp.

I have a 24ft w/slideout 5th wheel, I am interested in taking the camper out there, where is a good place to park it?

You will have no trouble finding a site that your trailer will fit into. Most sites have been designed with big RV's in mind.

This will be our first camp out with the RV without full hookups!

Hope you have working holding tanks! Sites have water and electric (no sewer) with a dump station near the entrance to the loop.

I figure I'll use the Facilities there when we need too, other than that the tanks will hold for at least 3 days at the most......

From what I was able to see in our drive-thru over a month ago, I would be challenged, at best, getting my 34' TT w/2 slides into the majority of campsites in this park. Some sites are sloped down and in and many appear very unlevel. Narrow roads in the loops. Not big rig friendly at all IMO.

We where there in our 24' tt and it was tight. We did see larger rigs but like mission said the sites could be better leveled.I was lucky on our site someone had left cender blocks to help out.Hope you enjoy.
