Wow...I can't believe it's been so long since I last posted here....much has changed!
As for Beaver's Bend, I will always love camping there! We try to get right on the river in area A, however, this past October the place was packed....I'm talking about REALLY PACKED! There were only three places left in Area C so that is where we camped...a great spot indeed! The fall colors were amazing, and because we camp during the week, the noise level was only that of barking dogs and laughter from fellow empty nesters!

Most of the time we can be found at Tyler State Park.....Since they have upgraded their campground to full hookups, they stay fairly full but we CAN make reservations...that is always a plus for us!!

Appears we may have been there at the same time!We wanted right beside the river but all sites were taken.We drove up to Martin Creek at Tatum yesterday to ck out the water level.Park had quite a few campers!
