Do you use sway bars ?

I pull a 24 foot Prowler, and always used sway bars. This last week I went to visit friends at beach that came down from Hill Country and did'nt use them .It was a short trip(50)miles and I did'nt feel any difference.Friends at RV dealership said they never use them.I did notice the trailer was a whole lot easier to back up.Just wondering.

Re: Do you use sway bars ?

We use weight distribution hitch to pull 1985 27' Prowler. I believe it has anti-sway control, too. We also use trailer brakes. Its a safety thing. You will only need them in an emergency. Then you will be glad you have them.
