Posted from an email Justin just sent out regarding yesterday's San Geronimo Airpark fly-in. Fly-ins are something cool for photographers in the area who want to photograph people & planes one weekend instead of landscapes & wildlife:

EAA Chapter 35 hosted their June ’03, Young Eagles Fly-In yesterday at San Geronimo Airpark. I’ve just posted about 28 images from the event and they are now available on NoticeToAirmen.com. All images were captured with a Canon EOS 10D and either a EF 300mm F4L-IS or EF 28-135mm-IS lens.

A big THANKS to the pilots that dedicated their time to make this event a success and to the ground crews that handled ATC, sausage cooking (awesome!!) and more. Everyone is so friendly and it made for a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
Enjoy your weekend and STAY COOL…(heat indexes in the 100’s today!!)
Sincerely,
Justin W. Moore

P.S.: High quality prints of the images are available for sale, with a portion of the sale donated back to EAA Chapter 35. CD-ROM slideshows are also available for this fly-in and previous events as well. Let me know if you’re interested!
