Also, is there some good places for photos on the road that goes through the Park, my Wife doesn't do hikes very well and I would like for her to be able to see the beauty of the Park.

While some of the park's namesake features, like "The Lighthouse," do require a hike to properly photograph, you'll definitely be able to take some representative photos of Palo Duro without going on all the hikes. There are some amazing views into the canyon as you approach the park and, equally impressive views as you descend into the canyon. If you visit in the summer, you can also catch the
"EPIC Texas" outdoor musical held with the park's canyon walls as a grand backdrop. We saw the musical during our visit (back when it was named just the "TEXAS Outdoor Musical") and it's extremely well done and worth the price of admission. I can't recall if they permit photography during the performance, but the entertainment would make up for a lack of photos, I should think.
Don't let
my Palo Duro Canyon trip report scare you -- if you carry enough water and start your hike early, or aren't hiking in the heat of summer (July/August), you'll find the hike to the Lighthouse and other scenic spots are very flat, with only very short spurts of elevation change.
