i have only got a standard zoom (28-70) on my minolta, the camera doesn't have depth of field preview and the lens doesn't have any hyperfocusing guides. any tips on getting the best depth of field with this kit.

seecondly, when metering with ND grad filter, do you set the exposure with or without the filter...?
