Since Texas is home to the NASA astronaut corps and the home of Mission Control for the International Space Station and Space Shuttle, I'm stretching a bit here and deciding this is worth posting here on WildTexas.com --
Most of my STS-133 Space Shuttle Discovery launch photos are now online: STS-133 Launch (Causeway viewing) - a set on Flickr
I attended the launch with friends, viewing it from the causeway this time around. My first Shuttle launch viewing was back in November 2009 (STS-129, Space Shuttle Atlantis) from the press site as part of NASA Tweetup.
Only two more Space Shuttle flights remain, both scheduled for this year (STS-134 in April, STS-135 at the end of June) so if you have a chance to see one, and never have, do it!
