While planning our Pack's annual family camp out, we came up with a great idea. It's a new twist on an old favorite. Since you can't take rocks, leaves, flowers, and other neat stuff from parks (Leave no trace), "Capture" your treasure on film. It's a Digital Scavenger Hunt. We've made a list of things such as a mockingbird, a net, water, clouds, something over 30 ( we expect to see pictures of parents for this one), cedar tree, a berry etc.
This concept could be adapted for adult gatherings of campers, maybe conduct the digital safari for a weekend and the person with the most different animals/birds/reptiles captured, wins. You could email your photos to each other upon returning to civilization to see things from your weekend you might have missed.
