Canon 10D vs. Digital Rebel <-- worth the price difference? I'm sure there are advantages to the 10D, but will I (as one with no training) notice the difference? I'm talking about camera body only. I plan on using the lense for my Elan 7e - I think it'll fit both camera bodies. I'm tempted to get the Rebel because of the price. I'm not sure I need anything better than the rebel, but if I am in danger of regretting going cheap, I'd like to know now and not next year...

ahhh...the dilemas of the tax refund... Invest? whats that?... i need TOYS.

I think the Digital Rebel is an exceptional camera for the price and a solid performer that uses your existing Canon lenses. Several of my photography students (I teach an Adult Community Ed class here in San Antonio) have purchased the Digital Rebel and they are very happy campers!

At the end of the review it lists the primary differences between the Digital Rebel and the 10D. For most folks, I don't believe the difference in features are enough for them to dismiss the price difference.
