    blowing up digital prints

First of let me say "Heya Folks, missed ya!"... Geez, hope y'all even remember me. I think I was last on the site about mid 2005 or so.

Anyways, my outdoor photography has netted me a few pics I'd like to blow up to maybe 16"x20" to display on my wall.

What is the lowest resolution the original can be in and not look pixelated when blown up to 16"x20"?

    Thanks!

Hey, "vette"! Sure has been a good while but I remember the name! Glad your back!

No expert on the subject but I have a friend who is. Not sure if I'm answering the question the way you want it but I understand the you need a camera that will do better then 4MP to blow up to 8X10 and a higher MP is, of course, better. That should give you a idea of what's needed. I'll pose your question to my friend if I see him tonight and try to get back to you tomorrow.

    Welcome back and happy camping!

Got it! My friend says 10MP for what you want to do. Hope this helps.
