Aerial Photography

Can anyone tell me where I might find a company that photographs aerial homesites?

Re: Aerial Photography

I assume you mean a company that takes aerial photographs of homesites, since aerial homesites are few and far between (International Space Station, etc.)

What city, state are you in? That will help locate some potential service providers.

Re: Aerial Photography

Here are some options. I don't have ties to any of them so I cannot recommend any in particular. All I did was a Google search to locate them --
  • SkyCam Aerial (seems to be primarily aimed at commercial real estate)
  • AirBorn Imaging (specifically mentions homeowners as potential clients.)
  • Aerial Viewpoint (not just limited to Houston; primarily aimed at commercial clients and aerial surveys)
  • ProAire (not just limited to Houston; advertises short notice and quick turnaround; aimed at real estate developers)

LOTS MORE here --> Google search results for "aerial photography" + "houston"

For those curious, Justin is a licensed General Aviation pilot with an instrument rating, but since he does not have a commercial pilot's license, we do not engage in any aviation for profit and that includes aerial photography for anyone other than ourselves. Occasionally, we get requests via our OutdoorPhoto.com website, but this is the answer that applies to all for-hire aerial photo inquiries we receive.

Re: Aerial Photography

You can also check out http://www.zillow.com/ . It is a real estate website. Just add any address and it will give you a satelite shot of the area which you can zoom in on. Rural locations may not always be successful.

Re: Aerial Photography

My daughter & son in law are pilots and fly alot of people around to take photos of their properties.

So you could probably check with you local airport for flight instructors etc to do this..
