35mm to digital ?

Since the great, Honey have you seen the new cameras,Dw left new canon digital cameras at South Llano SP on last trip there.I was wondering can you somehow turn 35mm negitives into digital and the cost of doing it.We have almost all our trips in 35mm.

Re: 35mm to digital ?

They make slide and negative scanners. Prices have probably dropped considerably since we bought ours (ours is ancient and actually doesn't work with any of our present computers since we don't have a SCSI card in any of them).

There are also services that do it but you're talking about priceless, original copies of your memories and you'd be up a creek if the company or postal service lost them.

Check eBay, Craigslist or Amazon.com for used or new 35mm slide/negative scanners.

Here's a starting place if you want to check Amazon.com -> 35mm scanner, negative scanner, and slide scanner.

If you do find something on Amazon.com, buy it through our links. Fulfillment and billing is still handled by Amazon.com, but we'll receive a 1% to 4% affiliate payment for sending the business there way. It helps us pay *our* bills here on WildTexas.com (server/web hosting, software upgrades, etc.)
