Nice slide show. That was Guadalupe Mtn NP right? We stopped by there this summer and did Carlsbad also. We need to go again and spend more time. Did you take the troop or was it just the family?

Yes Guadalupe Mountains national park contains McKittrick Canyon, nice hike into another world (the canyon) Guadalupe Mountains National Park - McKittrick Canyon

and that was just me and DW :thumbsup::thumbsup:, had the pop up then. There is just so much to see of Texas its mind bogling at times. That trip started with a stop at Ft Griffin TPWD: Fort Griffin State Park and Historic Site, went to Carlsbad then down to the Mountains.
