Has anyone had or been to a small wedding at a state or county park?

Just wondered if anyone had any suggestions. It has to be around the Austin area (although I may consider one around the Dallas area).

Would like to have a dining hall I could rent (doesn't have to be huge, enough for under 30 people). And also, if it had a very nice scenic area (a waterfall, by a lake or river, field of wildflowers, a view of hill country) to have the wedding ceremony, that would be wonderful.

Any suggestions?

Can be a state park or a travis county park or a LCRA park.

Texas Weddings, Texas Hill Country Outdoor Wedding Locations at the Canyon of the Eagles

This is an LCRA park, though the lodge is operated by a private company. It's very nice and a bit pricey. We had a family reunion there last Thanksgiving and the Thanksgiving dinner was fabulous!

We attended a great spring wedding at San Saba,Texas at the Wedding Oak and had a reception at Mill Pond Park beautiful spots .Look up San Saba and check it out.Good Luck
