Washington on the Brazos

How much time should it take to see and enjoy this park and the farm there? Is it a 2-3 hour visit, or more? Just trying to plan some things for weekend after next.

Re: Washington on the Brazos

We spent half the day there including a picnic, but kids were ready to leave after 30 minutes. If you love history it's a great place,if you want to play 2-3 hours maybe.

Re: Washington on the Brazos

Thanks for the honest answer. I can plan the day better knowing he might get bored there. It sure is great being able to ask folks what they think. Feedback is much appreciated.

We probably spent about 4 hours there. My son(12yo) is a Texas History fanatic, so he was digging all of it....as was I! They have a nice little nature trail and we ran into this armadillo momma with her babies. It was really cool to see.
