Village Creek SP this weekend - best Primitive Walk-In Site?

Hello Fellow Campers!

Friends and I are heading to Village Creek SP for a long weekend. We have a non-specific site reserved in the Primitive Walk-In area, sites 1-16. I've never been there before, and I'll be the first in my group to arrive so I'll be responsible for the site selection (from whatever is left, of course!).

By "group," I mean 3-4 adults and a 7 yr old. We appreciate a relatively secluded campsite, but proximity to certain facilities would be appreciated by the child and her mother.

Your recommendations?

Many thanks, CateyBeth

Well the sites on the creek are the best. I think #16 has the best privacy and not so far of a walk in, if I remember correctly. Make sure you check out the swimming area, it's a nice white sand beach.

We ended up in Site #10, and were quite satisfied. Easy to get to, on the high bluff overlooking the creek, and still relatively secluded. As it turned out, the park was only about 1/3 to 1/2 full with campers in our area so it was very nice.
