Turkey Bend

Has anyone camped (or visited) Turkey Bend?

It doesn't have too much detail on the site, but I was just wondering if the campsites had fire rings and picnic tables and how far are they from the waterless toilets? Also, is it mostly grassy areas or is there shaded tree areas as well?

Or, if anyone had other ideas of good camping spots (requirements: need some kind of water - river, lake, etc) that won't be overpacked and crowded during this time of year, suggest away.

Re: Turkey Bend

Nope, but I'm sure it's beautiful. I don't know anywhere on Lake Travis that's not (provided we're not having a drought, that is )
