suggestions please!

Hi all, first off great site, between this site and texaskayakfisherman, I am just about forumed out, lol, jk! Anyway, I am looking for a park near san antonio to take my son camping, he is almost 4, not his first trip by any means, in fact he is following in his fathers footsteps and will soon become a full fledge river-rat! Most of our camping has always been on either our own land, or close friends and families, I was born and raised in Junction, Texas, and spent a great deal of time on the llano, south, north, and main llano, before you state the obvious, no im not crazy, i have a permanent campsite there, several in fact, lol, I just am looking to broaden my horizons a bit if you catch my drift, so I am looking for tent sites, elec/water not really an issue, just for two days one night, hopefully with a river/lake for swimming maybe, but for sure for fishing! any ideas? advice?

Re: suggestions please!

Thanks, I appreciate the input, unfortunatley I dont think we are going to nake it this weekend, buut thats ok because there is another norther coming in I believe, so I guess we'll just wait until after the spring break rush is over, fortunatley I work a job that allows me 5 weeks off at a time so I think Ill plan something during the week following spring break, who knows maybe we will get some massive rains by that time and there will be parks with rivers again, lol, instead of parks with river beds? lol, anyway thanks again for info. and I am glad I found this site!
