A reminder as we head into the upcoming fall and winter months -- some Texas State Parks, State Natural Areas and other public lands are closed for certain portions of October, November, December and/or January for hunting.
Access restrictions vary by park, so it's best to
check TPWD's schedule of restricted park access and, if still in doubt, contact the park directly (or the toll-free Texas State Parks Information Line at
1-800-792-1112.)
