Oh you are so lucky to be able to go somewhere - anywhere on Spring Break. My husband and I will be tied up with the Houston Rodeo pretty much this whole month. Plus the week of spring break I have to take my mother in for eye surgery and let her recover at my house. Looks like our next overnighter will be Easter weekend.

No trip for us this SB -- son is @ his dad's this year. Which means son gets to sit home with stepmom & do nothing while Dad works......

Happybooker, What a bummer. There's just something unfair to the kids when that happens. I'm sure you'll make it up on another trip. We are leaving someone home to do nothing, but that's because my DH does NOT like camping. He not only dislikes it, he makes it miserable for everyone else. We're happy he decided to babysit the cats and make sure no one steals the couch.

Spring is just around the corner. I have been noticing the bluebonnets along the road already. As soon as we get done with the Houston Rodeo we are gonna take a road trip to Fredericksburg, Easter weekend and I can't wait either!

We're making last minute checks on directions and weather forecasts and are anticipating a 30 % chance of flurries on 2 nights during our stay at Copper Breaks. My son is VERY excited at the chance of seeing REAL SNOW. I'm excited to get "Off the grid" for a week.

Anyway finally have camping plans. Heading to Ft. Parker SP in April. Will take some pictures relax and have fun
