Thumbs up Mo-Ranch

Hey Guys!

Has anyone ever been to Mo-ranch in Hunt, Texas. This place is awesome. We went there for our Senior Trip and I have to say this place is the best place EVER!!! I would LOVE to go back again... It has tons of attractions such as, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding, slides into the river, volleyball, basketball, tennis, playgrounds, and a cafeteria. This place is really AWESOME.. I would love to go back again.

So has anyone been to this place before?

Sounds like such an awesome place, I had to check out its website at http://www.touringtexas.com/moranch/
Very nice... that water slide looks a little scary though! On second thought, no, the Mo Pole is what's scary... Did you climb/jump off that?!?

 I've never even gone horseback riding before... how can I call myself a Texan? One of these days, Justin and I definitely need to get out to one of these guest ranches and do all the various activities. And of course, I'd do a write-up here on the experience afterwords.

HAHA!! Yes I went down the slide and let me say.. I held my breathe the whole way down. I was so scared. Well as for the Mo-Pole, they would not allow in that territory because it is a high ropes course there. But all the water event are a blast.

As for horseback riding.. OMG!! A blast too! This was my first time and it is a great experience. You and Justin really need to schedule a day there. You will definately have fun! Or schedule to go somewhere else horseback riding because it is FUN!

Yes, we definitely need to rent some horses and get a taste for trail riding. While I was hiking at Hill Country State Natural Area (Bandera, TX) in May, I ran into a group of about 25 folks on horseback (they called 'em "mules" ) and had an awesome time taking photos of them and their horses for a bit.

I was awful jealous when they all rode off and I still had a 2+ mile hike back to the trailhead! I remember one of them asking me when they rode up, "What happened, did your horse break down!?"

Here are some photos I just posted today from that experience. It definitely made me want to try out horseback riding sometime!
