Has anyone been there recently? Is the water safe?

The water is posted as being a safety hazard. There has been so much construction around the park I suspect it will stay that way.

We were there in May and the water was unsafe due to the heavy spring rains causing bacterial levels to be high. The patrols were very serious about enforcing the no water access rules by yelling at the scouts who were swimming "WHAT PART OF NO SWIMMING DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND!!!!!"

I can only assume it's still the same.
