Thanks to 70-year-old Lou Waters, Lost Maples State Natural Area in Vanderpool, TX, is about to grow by over 700 acres (that's roughly 1/3 the size of the SNA as it exists today!)

Over 600 acres will be signed over to TPWD at the end of this week, with the remaining 100 acres being transferred to the Agency this fall.
