Question Looking for large group site with kitchen facilities

Our group would like to schedule a group family retreat in October. We did one last year at Lake Murray and it was GREAT for our purposes. This year, however, they are already booked.

Ideally, we need a site with cabins that can house up to 30 families. We need a central kitchen / dining hall. The kitchen would need to have a working oven and stove top, fridge, freezer and pantry space. It would also be nice if it was stocked with pots, pans, serving and cooking utensils, etc..

We need something that is about or is within a 2-hour drive from the D/FW airport area. Any suggestions are VERY WELCOME!!!!!!

Easy! Cleburne State Park. Check the following review. Should give you all the info you need:

Cleburne State Park, Teaxas Fall, 2005 (Review)

Also, Mineral Wells State Park is well suited for such a gathering. Haven't done a review on this park even though it is way over due.

Let me know if I can be of any other help and happy camping!

Take a look at Lake Arrowhead.
