Looking for info on a park in or near Call TX.

Hi all. I am new to the forum and need help finding parks and info in my area. A good while back someone told me about a park in Call TX but I don't know just where it is and when I do searches with "call" in them I get nothing but phone numbers lol!

Not sure what park you are looking for. Martin Dies at Jasper and Village Creek at Lumberton are the closest ones I know of. That being part of, or close to the Big Thicket area it may be a national park you are searching for. Provide some more details and I am sure someone will help you.

It's been awhile since I was told about the park so that is all the info I can think of. Is there a more complete list of parks that can go by miles of a zip code? Maybe an easy to use site that has a list of activitys for each park?

Hey! We're neighbors! Anyways...this link is to a private campground with a Newton address. May not be what you're looking for but its the only one I know of. My husband is more familiar with that area but he's out of town til the weekend. I'll ask him when he gets back.

Thanks for the link but I know the one I was told about was public.

Hey there! Artesian Springs is private owned but open to the public. Anywho.. hubbie said there is a E O Siecke State Forest near Call that may be what you're thinking of. Here's that link:

The park you are asking about is what we call the Forestry Road. Its about 4 miles east of Kirbyville Texas. I'm not sure of the road number but anyone in Kirbyville can direct you. It's an ok place to ride but the best place I have found is in Huntsville Texas. Go to www.generalsams.com
Also, there is supposed to be a great place near Leesville La in the Kasatchie National Forest.
