Lighthouses of Texas

just looking for any comments from personal experiences on visits and such to any of the remaining lighthouses in Texas.thanks

Now, this is funny. I am doing research on remaining lighthouses for a blog post and it will be up in a few days. I'll come back and tell you when its done.

I have seen the one at Aransas Pass (Lydia Ann private) that is on the Lighthouse Lakes kayak trail. There is one on Bolivar Pennisula, but I have not been there since I was a teenager. There is a working one at Port Isabel in S. Texas, and one (not working) on Matagorda Island.

thanks so much for your reply, i look forward to you upcoming site availablity. i know that texas doesn't have many lighthouses, several along the gulf coast, especially florida....

I am so sorry. I did some research and then got sidetracked to write on Texas caves. You know, I wrote about one cave and then there was another just down the road, then another...

Then there was recipe column for the rockhounders. Then there was Willie Nelson's 4th of July picnic.
It will be my very next post. Thanks for reminding me.
