Brother has a boat so he'd be interested in lake access. I have a pop-up. Checked on Sam Houston National Forest & Cagle Recreation area seems like a good bet. However they don't take reservations.

Anyone here ever been there? How fast do they fill up? How many sites? A link to more info?

Any other RV parks on Lake Conroe that someone would recommend? Thanks.

Unless they have done something to stop it, the hydrilla (weed) is pretty intense in parts of Lake Conroe. I remember this from when I was a child (eons ago).

Of course, there is a Thousand trails if you do not mind taking a tour.
