Lake Bob Sandlin State Park review 9/07
Lake Bob Sandlin SP is around 2 1/2 hours east of Plano. The park is located on the Lake and is very heavily shaded. Because of the rain, didn't do our usual walk around. But the restrooms are very nice, and for tenters it is one of the nicest set ups I have seen, all the pads are in the shade with a picnic table and usually 2 grills and a light pole. The park has 70 some water electric sites and the tent sites I am talking about are those, I did not see the walk in sites. The park is known for fishing and according to ther ranger they get full often with fishing tenters/campers.
A number of the cement pads for traliers are on an angle and this didn't inpress us.
Its a nice park, but with Cooper being closer doubt we will use it much.
