Day 4 we headed out of the Many Glacier area for the south part of the park called Two Medicine, after Two Medicine lodges which according to local history two tribes erected one year across from each other on the lake. Two Med is another very beautiful spot, we checked out the campground (2 thumbs up, nice divided spots and shade)
First hit the short walk to Running Eagle Falls, the walk will take you through a forest. The air smells of pine trees mixed with the fresh clean mountain air.
Then we took the ranger led boat ride on the boat Sinopah which went across the lake and then hiked to Twin Falls
This trail winds through lodge pole pine and fir trees. You cross avalanche chutes. Through wild flowers and berry bushes.(Sang for the bears again, but with the group we were with was noisy anyway) After visiting some eye cathing falls took the boat back and drove to St. Mary to the Park Cafe for dinner and PIE! Spent the evening looking throught the scopes at bears up on the mountainside
