Eufaula Lake

Has anyone been to Eufaula Lake in Oklahoma? We are planing a trip to Branson this summer and thought we would stay at one of the parks there on a Saturday and Sunday night since we are not to be in Branson until Monday. We are going to stay at the lodge that the Bass Pro Shop owns in Branson on Monday and Tuesday nights and then will be staying at Table Rock State Park on Wednesday and Thursday nights. I am not sure where we will go for Friday and Saturday night yet (maybe Lake Ouachita) so if anyone has any suggestions I would like to hear them. Thanks.

Re: Eufaula Lake

I had heard that Beaver Bend State Park was very nice and once had the opportunity to drive through it just to get the "lay of the land". What I saw in my brief stay looked very good......hills, streams, neat and clean appearance.
Do a search and some research to see if it's to your liking.

We've stayed in cabins at Lake Ouachita. The lake is huge with lots of people. Of course, we were there over the 4th of July weekend. The highlight for us was the fireworks display over the water.
