Re: Discuss: Calaveras Lake Park

Hey Fishenguy, Campermom, AKA Fishermom here, how ya doing?

There are all sorts of baits to try. Always have a back up. You just don't know what they want. Stink bait works great, live shad on the bottom works well to. I prefer fish for Reds from the bank. Wade out, cast into what used to be the river channel, and wait for the school to pass through. That's a ton of fun!

Smile Re: Discuss: Calaveras Lake Park Easter Weakend

I would like to thank the " Calaveras Lake " staff for all their hard work in
maintaining the park during the Easter Weakend. The staffs regular run through the park picking up full trash bags helped keep the areas clean.
The restrooms were well maintained, as I have never seen them so clean.
I have been camping at the lake for the past 10yrs, besides fishing I look forward to my Easter Weekend. Thanks again!
