I haven't been there, myself, but you have checked out Texas Parks & Wildlife's (TPWD) info on the park, right? If not, it's available here -- Cooper Lake State Park (there are two units/parks, so note the location and unit name before making any reservations.)

Re: Coopers Lake State Park

i have looked at the parks website and I have park books. But I always like to hear what someone else thought about it. I haven't found anyone else who has been there. maybe it will be quiet.

Thumbs up Re: Coopers Lake State Park

I just got back from coopers lake ! My family and i had a great time and will go back soon. the cabins are nice , clean and have plenty of room. The kids went fishing every morning and we saw all kinds of animals. The swimming area was alot of fun. My husband and i want to go back in Nov. Cyndi

P.S. The sky was full of stars at night and so peaceful !

Re: Coopers Lake State Park

We trailer camped there on the way to Arkansas one time and did enjoy the roomy sites. They even blew them off before you backed in?
