You shower at the state park to cool off after a swim and you start sweating before you leave the restrooms ! LOL It was hot at Ray Roberts this weekend :cool:

Water temps were good now if we can get shade over the lake or at least the swim area :yes:

Bless you for doing it. I have camped in a tent in 104 degrees, but not any more. Becomes more an act of survival, than a fun time in the woods, at least for me and the boss lady.

I beleive I will wait for cooler temps before venturing out. 30 years ago, no problem. Today I have become addicted to A/C.

Thats why we camp in our hybrid, althought need to order pop up gizmos covers for the bunk ends like yesterday.

Hope to get out next weekend to Lake Tawakani SP and while near Wills Point hope to stop at Katie's Cafe for CFS (yum)

...the little pictures on the NOAA National Weather Service site glow yellow/red for EVERY day:mad:! Forcast calls for low-100s all the way through next Sunday. Yep, I've had enough summer:laugh:!

your happy to see a hurricane. We need the rain so very much.
We watch the lightning and felt the outflow winds from a thunderstorm coming our way. Then, poof, it dried up and died right before it reach our place.
