TXDOT is holding a vote from now (February 4) through February 11 to solicit votes for the new general issue Texas license plate design. If you want rights to complain later about the new design, be sure to get your vote cast now!

I have the horned lizard "Keep Texas Wild" plates that benefit the conservation fund, but I still have a preference when it comes to having to live with seeing these general issued plates for the next decade or more!

Thats very interesting, I didn't even know they were changing. I just ordered personal plates-I haven't picked them up yet, looks like I'll have the old design for awhile.
