I don't know how many of you are avid followers of
VirtualBigBend.com, as I have been for some time. However, David Locke -- the webmaster of that terrific site -- has just suffered a personal loss and could use your words of support right now.
I know I speak for others here when I say that David is in our thoughts.

Subject: To My Big Bend Friends
Dear Friends,
I would like to inform you that my wife, Rhonda, passed away Thursday from a tragic accident. She was my life, my rock, the glue that held me together, and my best friend. I was out of town on business when I found out and I wrote this letter to her while on the plane home to say goodbye to her:

In honor of my late wife, take this time to give your loved one a big hug and kiss and tell them how much you love them. You never know when it will be the last. I loved her so much, you have no idea.
Memorial services will be held at San Marcos Skydive in Fentress Texas about 15 miles east of San Marcos on Hwy 80. Your attendance will be greatly appreciated. In a couple of weeks I will go to the park with my baby one last time to spread her ashes at her favorite place in the park, the window. Virtual Big Bend would not have been possible with the support of this great woman. Virtual Big Bend will not have anymore updates for awhile. Signing out for now, thank you guys so much for your support.
Sincerley,
David Locke
