Things to see in North Texas (Dallas)

Do not know how long the link will be there, but the Dallas Newspaper had a section on 55 things to do within a tank of gas, they even skipped some goodies! (missed Daingerfield SP a real gem) ok by me

But here is the link North Texas One-tank Getaways | Dallas Morning News | News for Dallas, Texas

the online version goes to other web sites too

Shh don't tell to many folks about Daingerfield SP it will get crowded ! see this link for a quick view

TPWD: Pineywoods Videos

play in windows media Daingerfield (others their too)

Canton is an interesting trip, lots of "stuff" to buy and see.

From new to real old, texan and other antiques sold. Food is good, wear good walking shoes and may not wish to go in June to August (its hot) its the first Monday weekend every month. If you come Cooper Lake SP south, is a great place to base from to visit it.
