Texas seven wonders

Or are there more? These are nature wonders

Those of you who visit or use the TPWD website, know they break the state up into 7 regions. TPWD: Find a Park

Texas highways has an interesting article on the 7 wonders of Texas.

So here are the first three Panhandle Plains probably the easiest to guess, its a neat place to go Palo Duro Canyon.

Piney woods now this is a little harder to guess and I need to go but its Caddo Lake, pictures look interesting as does the video
TPWD: Caddo Lake State Park

and last for today Hill Country they nominate Enchanted Rock.

So how are there first picks? They are all neat spots (although I missed one so far )

Re: Texas seven wonders

I would have to agree with Palo Duro being the perfect representative of the Panhandle area. I've not been to Caddo but the in laws said it's neat. Enchanted rock vs Lost Maples. Which is more representative of the Hill Country?

So, Do you think Balmorhea or Big Bend Ranch for the Big Bend area? Brazos Bend for coastal? Guess we need to stay tuned to find out.
