I haven't ventured here much lately ( sorry about that) been busy camping every two weeks since October.Still trying to figure out the new layout here.
Just an update to let everyone know my sinus surgery, scheduled for this morning (Tuesday, January 26th), went off without a hitch and I'm doing well. I'll be a little scarce for a couple days. Justin and Miss Sara, our almost 3-year-old kidlet, are taking good care of me.
... DRUM ROLL ...
I look forward to getting back outdoors!
Sorry, a little excited since it's about darn time... if this surgery is even marginally successful, I will finally have days where my head(ache) is not threatening to explode and days where I can actually BREATHE through my nose again.
Once I'm presentable again (I sound like I have a head cold right now--really stuffy, LOL!) I'll put together another Wild Texas Podcast and a couple tutorials on some of the new features here on the website.

Let me know if there's anything in particular in the 'new layout' is causing you confusion or issues (and there are still a few bugs around--I'm trying to monitor the developer's forum for status updates.) Knowing what's confusing folks will help me focus on the right things in any tutorials or walkthroughs I do to guide folks around the new or modified features of the site. There's also a whole suite of stuff I have currently turned off, but we won't even delve into that yet... I need time to play under the hood.
Glad to see you around & look forward to a few trip reports, if you have the time.
As for me, I'm operating under impulse power today... it'll be another day or so before I'm back up to warp speed.

Great to hear the surgery itself went well Hope you can get back out camping ! Consider this summers potential gathering as a possibility.
