Thumbs up Rain. Rain. RAIN!!!

Yes, it's finally raining in south Ft. Worth!!! Gauge says we've had 1 1/8" since yesterday evening and it's still coming down. Supposed to keep up like this through today, into tonight tonight and back off tomorow. Could keep up like this all week as far as I'm concerned.

Looked at the long range weather and it looks like this will break this heat's back and we should be getting some cooler weather. Good! Means we can get the trailer out even sooner then I'd hope.

Hope all in Texas get a good piece of this and we get our lakes filled back up. No matter what,

Happy Camping!

Re: Rain. Rain. RAIN!!!

1.9 inchs ! I can hear the grass growing and the ground is actually SOFT again! Hope this keeps up a good, long time! Lakes need it real bad. I'll have to cut the grass...but I'm NOT complaining!

Happy Camping!

Re: Rain. Rain. RAIN!!!

Was out this weekend in Midland / Odessa and experienced one of these events!! Haven't seen rain in so long, it was so cool. We had a great light show friday night and were amazed to see GREEN GRASS in the ditches. At home everything is brown. We were hoping the rain would follow us home to Cameron, but it stopped at San Saba.

Watching the sky with fingers crossed.

Re: Rain. Rain. RAIN!!!

Believe it or not, we've had very good rain distribution in our neck of the woods this summer. No brown patches in the yard. As a matter of fact, it's been hard keeping up with the yard work, the grass is growing so fast. :ribbit:
