Watched the weather report this last evening, like I expected anything to change. Weather man said that we can be looking for some rain...in about 2 weeks, maybe
!!!! I've seen some dry spells in my time but this is about the worst that I can recall. The summer of '80 was terribly hot and dry but the worst of that only lasted about 2 months. This started last summer with no real end in sight. Don't know about anyone else but I don't believe I'm even going to mess with a garden this year. Ground's way too dry and enough rain to make a difference before planting will float us away. Hope we get some rain before our Hill Country trip in April. Will have to wait and see.
