looking for some information about the beaches, want to be able to park on the beach, i guess surfside is still the best place for that?..looking in the galveston/surfside area.
anyone with any updated information to the best places would be greatly appreciated.

There are spots that are open on Surfside but the beach is still being worked on.Blue water hwy is gone and at times the only road is the beach.They are restaging the gio tubes and building up the dunes.The beach area by the Jetties would be the best place to go.Still lots of work going on,and wear tennis shoes lots of nails -glass in all areas.
hopefully the beaches will be ready by summer.
